Howl-O-Ween Block Party & Pet Adoption at MÜV
This Halloween, MÜV is teaming up with animal rescues across Florida to help homeless pets find their forever homes. On Saturday, October 31, five of our dispensaries are hosting adoption events with local rescue partners, and everyone in the community is welcome to stop by and meet the pets looking for a family.

Sebring: Howl-O-Ween Block Party with Heartland Pet Rescue
MÜV Sebring, at 3900 US 27 North, is going all out with a full block party alongside Heartland Pet Rescue. Heartland is a foster-based rescue that takes in owner surrenders, strays, and pets who need a second chance, then cares for them in foster homes until the right match comes along.
Along with adoptable pets, the block party brings together:
- Local makers
- Artists
- Food trucks
- Beverages
It’s an easy way to support small businesses in the Heartland while you’re there.
North Miami: Meet the Dogs of SGT Canines
Our North Miami (Biscayne) dispensary is hosting SGT Canines, a Miami-based nonprofit dog rescue serving Miami-Dade, Broward, and surrounding areas. SGT Canines focuses on the dogs who need help most, including long-term shelter residents, seniors, moms with puppies, and urgent medical cases.
Their dogs spend time in a home-like setting where the team gets to know each one’s personality and works on house manners before adoption, so you’ll get a good sense of who you’re meeting. Stop by anytime between noon and 5 p.m., the longest event window of the day.
Sebastian, Spring Hill, Sarasota, and Shalimar
At our other four participating dispensaries, local rescue partners will be on site with adoptable pets and plenty of information about how to bring one home. If you’ve been thinking about adding a dog or cat to your family, this is a great chance to meet them in person and ask questions about each rescue’s adoption process.
Cat lovers, take note: Save Our Cats and Kittens will be at MÜV Shalimar, so that’s the stop if you’re hoping to meet a new feline friend.
Can’t Adopt? You Can Still Help
Not every household is ready for a new pet, and that’s okay. Rescues like these rely on the generosity of their communities to keep saving lives. Donations typically help cover food, veterinary care, spay and neuter services, medications, and foster care. Ask the rescue team at any event how you can support their work.
